Today we took the kids to the Golf and Swim club to swim at the big outside pool. It was a lot of fun. We hadn't been to it before and the kids have been begging for a month to go ever since our well meaning realtor mentioned how great it was. The kids really loved it, Spencer is getting better at swimming and Chloe is getting a little braver, she spent more time in the 'medium pool' as she would call it then she did in the baby pool. I spent half an hour before we left looking for our camera so that I could take pictures and post them but my camera has officially went MIA. I have no idea where it could be. Matt of course was the last person that had it and he is so bad about losing things bless his heart.
23 days left until the move...not that I'm counting haha. I think we are going to paint Chloe's room before we move her furniture in there. Right now its a dark green, and you all know how girly she is. We may do a light sage paint and do purple decor or do a brown paint and pink decor, since both those colors are pretty neutral colors. I don't think we will paint anything else, since it's all pretty new paint anyway and there is none of it that we don't like. Spencers room is sort of a sage color with leaf pressings done on one wall. I'm really glad that they are leaving all the curtains, blinds, shower curtains, etc. All except their baby's curtains, which will be chloe's room so we will need to get curtains for her room before we move in.
It's terribly hot here, almost 100% humidity. Today was a little better, the storm that blew through, made it a little better. We at least had a little wind today so it made it seem less hot. Our poor apartment conditioner just cant keep up and at night is gets so hot in here.
I'm still trying to figure out what I want to do with this blog. I decided that I want to post a weekly bible verse and maybe a weekly quote that strikes my fancy. Only a very few people have even replied about this blog so I'm not even sure how many people will be checking it, so I guess it's basicly for me to have somewhere to put my thoughts. For those of you who do read it..thanks!
We just found out today that our bestest friends (yes I did mean to write 'bestest') are going to be proud parents of a baby girl! We are so excited for them, they have waited so long for this little miracle and I thank God for blessing them in his time. I can't wait to see her!

I read your blog, Annette! :D
ReplyDeleteI really like the ideas you have for the colors you want in Chloe's room. That sounds like a really nice idea.
And ew on the humidity. I hate when it is really really hot and no AC in the world can make it better.
Yay for new blogs! Talk to you later!
YAY! Thanks for reading it and replying! I love those colors, I got her last christmas, some dusky rose pink sheets for her bed and a brown blanket to go on it, that is suade (sp) on one side and super soft fur type stuff on the other. I LOVE those colors. and I have seen lots of sage and purple things that were beautiful too.
ReplyDeleteI am SOOO ready for autumn to get here, not only is it my most favorite time of the year but it will also not be so freaking hot!
